As Director of Financial Reporting Services, Mr. Kubit provides accounting, claims and run-off services to estates, insurers, and regulators. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, liquidations, financial, tax, marketing plans, reinsurance treaties and recoverables, systems projects, financial audits, and workers compensation issues.
Mr. Kubit joined Westmont after a distinguished career at Highmark Life and Casualty Group, Inc. He was with Highmark for 18 years, spending the last seven years as President and CEO. Prior to Highmark, he was CFO of the parent corporation and/or its for-profit subsidiaries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kubit held various accounting, tax, and MIS positions.
